Licensed to practice in Illinois and federal courts including the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, Paul Storment has a broad legal background with concentration in Family Law, Contract Law, Landlord/Tenant Law, Criminal Law, Employment Law, and Probate/Estate Law.
Since 1992, Paul Storment has operated his own solo practice, Storment Law Office. His mediation expertise includes extensive training in both civil and family mediation, along with direct experience mediating over 150 landlord/tenant cases through the Dispute Resolution Institute. He is approved for family mediations in St. Clair County, IL and surrounding counties, and serves on the pro bono mediation panel for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in St. Louis.
Beyond mediation, Paul Storment is deeply engaged in the legal community. He has served as a National Moot Court Judge, an arbitrator at the St. Clair County Arbitration Center, and an adjunct instructor of Constitutional Law. He also provides legal aid through pro bono representation and serves as a trained intervener with the Illinois Lawyers’ Assistance Program.
Paul’s dedication to service extends to his local community. He has volunteered as a religion teacher, Boy Scout leader, and founding Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Council #15746. He currently serves on the Pastoral Council at the Cathedral of St. Peter in Belleville, IL.
