Hello, I’m Regan Murphy, Partner, Mediator, and Special Counsel to the CEO at Resolvium. I joined Resolvium with a strong background in law and psychology, both of which shape my approach to mediation and family law.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a minor in Political Science, from Wilkes University in May 2018. After my undergraduate studies, I began my legal education at the Southern Illinois University School of Law and later transferred to Vermont Law School, where I completed my J.D.

My legal experience spans several fields, including mediation, special education law, family law, criminal law, contract law, and estate planning. I find working across various legal areas valuable, as it allows me to develop creative, practical solutions to complex issues. My psychology background enables me to connect with clients on a deeper level, giving me insights into complex relationships and family dynamics. I firmly believe that every dispute, especially in Family Law, has underlying causes beyond the immediate issue. By understanding these underlying dynamics, I guide clients toward mutually agreeable resolutions that promote long-term peace.

My commitment to mediation is also shaped by personal experiences and a strong belief in resolving disputes without unnecessary financial or emotional strain. I understand the pressures that life’s challenges can bring and the relief that effective dispute resolution can offer. I empathize with those navigating difficult phases and financial stress. I believe that litigating a divorce can create unnecessary tension, especially when children are involved. My goal is to help couples end their relationship respectfully and on good terms, fostering a healthy co-parenting environment that supports their children’s well-being.

In my role at Resolvium, I’m committed to providing neutral, unbiased guidance to help couples reach fair and amicable agreements, so they can move forward positively.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my fiancé and our two dogs, Bane, a bearded pit-mix who’s full of character, and Deuce, a gentle Rottweiler.
