Michelle Patail brings decades of legal expertise and a practical, client-centered approach to her role as a Partner and Mediator at Resolvium.  Experienced in civil and family law mediation and arbitration, Michelle is dedicated to guiding individuals and families through conflict resolution with empathy and integrity.

Michelle earned her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Michigan Law School and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Michigan. Her qualifications are a unique combination of legal acumen and psychological insight. Her work is grounded in a deeply experiential understanding of both the legal and emotional dynamics involved in divorce and family disputes.

As a licensed attorney and trained mediator, Michelle has the expertise to help families resolve sensitive issues outside the courtroom.  She believes mediation empowers families to maintain control over their personal lives, protect their privacy, preserve relationships, and manage costs—avoiding the adversarial nature of prolonged divorce litigation.
